Registered Nurse – General Medical Ward | South East QLD

About the Opportunity


We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join a dynamic General Medical Ward team at a highly respected private hospital in South East Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a patient-focused, supportive environment where professional growth and team collaboration are valued.

In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. You’ll be a key member of a skilled multidisciplinary team, delivering safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care while mentoring junior staff and contributing to positive patient outcomes.

Skill and Experience

Essential:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in a General Medical or Acute Ward setting
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and critical thinking skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining competencies
  • Flexibility to work across rotating day, evening, night, and weekend shifts

Desirable:

  • Experience in the private hospital sector
  • Knowledge of current clinical practices and quality improvement initiatives
